Condenser Tube Array Inspection
Condenser tube bundles can contain thousands of tubes. Material, tube dimensions, cooling-water chemistry, support positions and previous plugging records guide the inspection plan. Bobbin ECT offers efficient screening of suitable non-ferromagnetic tubes; a compatible array may add circumferential detail where localised pitting or cracking is the concern.

Cooling-water side pitting, localised corrosion, support signals and circumferential cracks are examples to assess; the method is selected against the actual tube alloy and damage mechanism.
Different techniques may be complementary. The inspection procedure must demonstrate response to the target indication under the actual material and geometry conditions.
Information for a technical proposal
Tube sheet map, alloy, outside diameter, wall thickness, length, count, support layout, access and previous inspection history.
Include expected reporting format, outage or shutdown window, site location and applicable procedure or acceptance criteria.
